Purgley operates entirely on your physical device hardware.

• Media and File Analysis: Every byte of your media library, cache structures, and file systems is analyzed locally on-device utilizing Apple Silicon and native frameworks.
• No Cloud Synchronization: Purgley does not utilize network synchronization, cloud storage, or remote processing pipelines. Your files never leave your device.

2. Information We Collect (Anonymized Telemetry Only)

We do not collect identities, filenames, file sizes, metadata, or personal identifiers. To maintain application stability, performance, and crash-reporting, we collect limited, privacy-safe signals:

• Telemetry Deck: We utilize TelemetryDeck to receive strictly anonymized, double-blind telemetry. This service strips away network footprints, IP addresses, and identifying characteristics.
• Usage Signals: We only track high-level app performance data (for example, successful execution of a scan, application crashes, or system errors) to optimize future updates.

3. Third-Party Services

Aside from the privacy-compliant telemetry signals managed through TelemetryDeck, Purgley does not integrate with, sell data to, or share information with any third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics corporations.

Because we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data whatsoever, Purgley inherently complies with global child privacy regulations, including COPPA and GDPR.
