• On-Device Models: Purgley utilizes highly optimized, on-device machine learning models to analyze image characteristics and evaluate redundancies.
• Local Clustering:The application maps your data locally to group similar files and duplicate media. This mathematical clustering happens purely within your device's secure memory space.
• Zero Cloud Interaction: No embeddings, vector data, filenames, or raw assets are ever transmitted to external servers or remote APIs.

2. Information We Collect (Anonymized Telemetry Only)

We do not collect personal identifiers, media library content, or the results of your local AI clusters. To maintain application stability, we collect limited, privacy-safe signals:

• Telemetry Signals: We utilize TelemetryDeck to receive strictly anonymized, double-blind telemetry signals. This service strips away network footprints and IP addresses.
• Performance Metrics: We only track high-level operational metrics (e.g., local model execution success, crash logs, or total space reclaimed per session) to optimize app performance.

3. Data Retention and Safety Net

Because Purgley operates as a local utility, your data is never stored externally. Marked files are routed directly to your system's native "Recently Deleted" holding area, giving you a 30-day window to natively recover files before permanent hardware clearance.
